Abstract

Through the analysis and comparison of personal interviews, articles and transcripts of his recordings for Verve Records label, this article shows the main characteristics of the musical style of saxophonist Joe Henderson and the influence that he had on the jazz scene during these years, when his career experienced a significant revival.
