12Twelve: saliendo del post-rock a golpe de free jazz

Abstract

This article deals with the way in which 12Twelve ceased to be the main Spanish post-rock band after incorporating the influence of free jazz in their last albums: Speritismo and L’Univers. With this, we will show how the rejection of post-rock that happens at the middle of the first decade of the century has extra-discursive consequences, affecting the musical level.
