Dave Holland. La virtud del equilibrio

Abstract

During his more than fifty-years career, Dave Holland has assembled a large discography as a leader, co-leader and sideman, keeping his music constantly updated and evolving. His philosophical fundamentals are the guide of his interpretative and compositional approaches. Likewise, the ability to achieve a high degree of compromise between opposed concepts becomes the cornerstone of his creative conception and the origin of his virtuosity. In the present article this balance is exposed and documented in eight conceptual poles.
