La revista Ritmo y Melodía: crónica y divulgación del jazz en los años 40

Abstract

One of the most valuable hemerographic sources for the reconstruction of the history of jazz in Spain is found in the journal Ritmo y Melodía, whose first number was published in Barcelona in 1943. The present paper is aimed at assessing the general-audience, informative approach of the journal, by means of the description and commentary of the fixed sections around which its contents were organized.
