Estéticas de la reproducción en el jazz: notas desde Blue (Mostly Other People Do the Killing, 2014)

Abstract

This paper takes Blue (Mostly Other People Do the Killing, 2014), a literal transcription of Kind of Blue (Miles Davis, 1959), as a baseline to analyze its aesthetic implications and make a critical approach on the concepts of reproduction, copy or imitation in jazz through categories such as authenticity, mimesis or representation.
