Acorde significante en el estándar “All of You”. Una perspectiva schenkeriana.

Abstract

This article provides an analytical study that reconsiders the harmonic cipher of Cole Porter’s “All of You” written in the Real Book through tools from Schenkerian analysis to contribute to its analytical interpretation. The analysis suggests that the Abm6 is a semidiminished second-degree chord rather than the minor fourth degree.
